How to Generate Content for Website
In my previous post, I discussed the process of doing the keyword research for the niche market. That is just one of the many ways of keyword research. I decided to use Google Adword Keyword Tool, Wordtracker and Google search because it is FREE! I will also come up with content ideas with the same FREE tools.
I’ve also mentioned that the reason behind the interest on the ”Date Idea’ topic is because I’m always clueless on what to do during anniversaries and special occasions. Furthermore, magazines and other news sites’ suggestions are all so typical. I believe that there are also a lot of people who are on the same boat as me and if I am able to provide good contents, the niche site will definitely get a lot of traffic.
So why am I creating contents on dating ideas when I am clueless? Because I am clueless, I know what people alike are searching for; therefore, I will be able to create contents targeted for them. The ideas are all out there, people just need to compile them and put it out there for people to find.
Generating Content for Website
Google Search: I am pretty sure you use Google Search everyday to find information. But do you know that it is also an amazing tool for content idea research?
With Google Suggestion, when you enter a keyword into the search bar, Google will auto-generate a few search ideas for you based on what other people had searched for in the past. As you add an additional word to your search, Google will auto-generate other ideas with the keywords you’ve entered. With this function, you get to see what other people are searching for related to your keywords and generate content targeting them.

Another great use of Google Search is the “Searches related to Keyword” at the bottom of the Search Engine Result Page (SERP). The related searches can give you ideas on content that you can create. Pretty sweet ey?

Google Keyword Tool: Other than telling the amount of competition or monthly search volume of a keyword, the Google Keyword Tool can also give you an idea of what content to create. Simply enter your primary keyword, for me it will be “Date Ideas” and Google will generate number of keyword ideas that people are searching for that includes your primary keyword in it. So with “Date Ideas,” I can generate content on “First Date Idea,” “Anniversary Date Ideas,” “Free Date Ideas,” and etc.

WordTracker: With WordTracker’s Questions Tool, it is pretty straight forward. I search for the primary keyword I am targeting and WordTracker will list a few questions people had searched for related to your keyword. This gives me an idea about what kind of content people want to read about.
